A little background. My AC1 (First Class) in the office, Don Sorrell, was a great cartoonist. He drew that for me after it was announced that I was selected. No chief, drawn as siting on my left knee, would have appreciated it. ha. I am not sure who the baby on the right knee drinking bilge water was supposed to be.
Chuck
Owen, of Laredo since 1990, joined the Navy in 1959 from his home in
Dickson, Tennessee. Chuck became a Navy air traffic controller (ATC) . Retiring
in 1980 as a Navy Lieutenant. chuck, is a minister/pastor with his own church in
Laredo TX. He writes a religious column in the LMT on Saturdays.
